For Infant Massage class that is held at the Nest and Company in downtown Bakersfield, please dress comfortably as we will be sitting on the floor. If you would like a pillow to sit on for yourself, please bring that as well. For your baby, please bring a blanket or something soft for baby to lay on. If possible, have your baby fed and content, but please feel free to feed, change or love on your baby as needed during the class. I look forward to teaching you how to massage your little one.

I graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor’s degree in Theology. I continued my education at Washington University in St. Louis Medical School where I earned my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. I have worked in many areas in the Occupational Therapy world, but always come back to pediatrics as my one true love. While working in the neonatal intensive care unit, I learned many skills including craniosacral therapy in addition to infant massage and feeding therapy. My drive to help infants is a true passion of mine!

I have been an Occupational Therapist for 23 years and have learned many things along the way. I was trained at Beames CST Training Center and earned the qualification of Craniosacral Therapist (CST) and Infant Craniosacral Therapist (ICST). I also am certified in Neonatal Touch and Massage Therapy (NTMTC). I have advanced practice certification in the areas Physical Agent/Modalities, Hand Therapy, and Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation or Intervention from Occupational Therapy Board of California. Additionally, I am a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (I & II).

Outside of work, I have been happily married to my husband Craig for 26 years and we have 3 teenage boys. I love to bake, camp and spend time with our two dogs, Bailey and Ozzy.
